Emily has worked within the green industry for over 16 years.

Even before obtaining her Landscape Management degree from Hocking College she was working in local garden centers cultivating her passion for plants and nature. For the 6 years following her Landscape Management Education, she managed, designed, and implemented projects for a local landscape installation/maintenance and retail company.

Currently Emily works with Metroparks Toledo as the Assistant Supervisor for all of the Downtown Metroparks.

Her mission, is to Encourage, Educate & Motivate homeowners to tackle their own landscape project(s), saving them time and money and in the process igniting a passion within them for the nature that surrounds them.

Prior to gaining her degree in Landscape Management, Emily obtained her Bachelors Degree from The University of Toledo in New Media Art. It is her passion for both Creation and Creating that drives her in the field of Landscape Design and Management. “Creating with the Creator” as she likes to say.

Her talent, education and experience have equipped her with a unique ability to communicate land management clearly. Homeowners will feel encouraged, motivated and equipped to transform their outdoor living spaces into areas they only dreamed of before.
